Deep in the dark blue sea lived a mermaid named Adrianna, her father King Titus and her four sisters. Sage, Gemma, Savannah, and Jade.

As each daughter of King Titus reached of age they were able to go up to the surface of the water and do as they pleased as long as they stayed out of sight of the humans.

When it was Adrianna's turn to go to the surface, she wasn't sure what she would see but she was very excited. As she was emerging from the water, Adrianna could hear crowds of people cheering.

Adrianna stopped to watch the crowd. She saw girls running around with a ball and then the girls would throw the ball. If they weren't quick enough they would get tackled. She wondered what they were playing.

Very interested in what Adrianna had just watched, she decided to go back into the sea and ask her sisters if they knew what she had seen.

I want to be human, so I can play on the rugby team!

You can't become human and you can't play rugby. It's too dangerous.

Her oldest sister Gemma told her what she had been watching was a rugby match. Adrianna was very intrigued. She wanted to know everything she could about rugby. Gemma warned Adrianna that rugby was dangerous and she could never be seen by a human.

Not wanting to listen to her sister any longer, Adrianna swam away determined to find a way to become human so she could play rugby.

I need to find the magic conch to turn me into a human.

Magic conch, I wish to be human.

After searching for hours upon hours, rubbing each Conch she found in hopes it was the magic one, Adrianna finally found the sacred magic conch, that would grant her the one wish she desired most.

Adrianna began to feel dizzy, everything was spinning, then everything went black. When Adrianna came to, she realized she was on land. When she looked down she saw legs instead of a tail.

It worked, it really worked. Now to join the rugby team.

Adrianna realized she was very close to the field where she had watched the rugby match. She decided to go to the field and see if anyone was there, so she could ask about joining the team. Adrianna stood up, almost stumbling over, she regained her balance. Walking with legs was different than having a tail. Something Adrianna would have to get used to and quick.

Adrianna walked up to the field. She saw a pretty girl kicking around the ball. She stood and watched her for a minute. The girl looked her way, smiled and waved. Adrianna walked up to her.
