Every year, my family and I take a camping trip. We go to different campgrounds and stay about a week.

One year, we went to a campground in Muskegon, MI called Lake Sch-nepp-a-ho. It had all kinds of things for the family to do there!!! We played badminton, volleyball, basketball, pool, and we even got to go paddle boating on the lake!!!

They have a huge lake there where you can go swimming. You jump off this great big trampoline and into the water....SPLASH!!! It was so much fun!! When you finish swimming, you can go to the really shallow part, and see a bunch of fish just swimming around your feet!! It tickles when they nibble at your toes.

At night, Mom, Dad, and I sit around a big campfire and talk about the great day we had. We eat s'mores and laugh and tell jokes. Then we makes plans on what we will do the next day.

Every year, Mom always tries to talk Dad into staying just a couple more days, Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't work. Then we have to get everything ready for the trip back home. Which I am glad we get to go home, because I miss my pet cats.

When we get home, our three cats are always happy to see us, and they give us all kinds of kitty snuggles once we are settled in the house. I love going camping with my family every year, and i can't wait until our next trip!!
