I could feel my hands shaking when I saw that little baby and my heart was pounding and I held him, and he felt like a feather, so I got even more nervous. The other baby had big blue eyes and dark hair and they didn’t really look like twins. I was at Glorias house sitting on the couch like a couch potato watching Netflix it was loud and smelt like window cleaner.  

Gloria said, “Heather and Pete are bringing the baby’s over and gabby over.”  

I said, “Oh my, didn’t they just get out the NICU.”  

Gloria said, “Yes” in an excited voice  



Afterward, we were  in the drive way getting the baby’s out the smelly  van to take them inside. Then the baby’s started to wine and yell. As soon, I got inside and saw them my heart started to race ,  and I started to sweat because he was coming rate towards me.  

“Can you hold Wesley quick while I feed Wyatt” asked Heather  

“I guess I can” I said in a nervous voice.  

As soon as, I held him I started to shake it felt like I was holding a baby kitten because he was so light.    

“Hey, Alayna you look kind of nervous” Heather said.  

“Yeah, kind of he small compared to Wyatt” I spoke.  

“Yeah, he is but he just got the NICU.” Heather said.  

“Yeah, I know he’s small!” I exclaimed    

“What are you two talking about!” Gloria exclaimed    

“We are talking about the baby’s” Heather hollered.  

Soon, the baby’s started to cry so I got even more nervous then, I was before I held the baby.  

So, then Heather said, “Maybe he is hungry could u feed him it is up to.”  

“No thank you.” I said  

“I will” Gloria said    

When all the sudden my eyes got really, big and my mouth was shut then I started to get a feel of relief.      

In time, she came and got him, and all my worries went away!  

“Your face isn’t as pale as it was” Gloria called out.  

“Yes” I said.  

Gabby who is only 2 knows my name but can’t say it right but she does know a lot of words. Also, she knows she has baby brother’s.    

I wonder if she is scared of, them or if it if just me.  

“Can you take Gabby to the toy room” Gloria asked?  

“Yes, I can” I said in a unworried voice.
