This book is dedicated to those who have always believed in me, who never gave up on me. Thank you!

Trixie loves to talk! But she also twiddles her thumbs. Her teacher always asks her why.

"Trixie, why do you twiddle your thumbs?" asks Ms. B.

"Well, I'm not sure! I do it more often than I realize."

"I know I twiddle my thumbs when I think about going into space!"

"Or when I am thinking about soccer practice with Sarah and Emily!"

"And even when I'm at home playing with my baby brother, Tommy!"

"Trixie, I think it is because you're hyperactive."

"Hy-hyperactive? What does that mean, Ms. B.?"
