Step 1: To make a hexatessellation you will first need to open the Geogebra app.
Step 2: Click on the regular polygon button, then after making 2 points enter 6 into the box for the number of vertices to form a regular hexagon.

Step 3: After you form a regular hexagon, click on the pen tool

Draw a line of any kind between the 2 points

Step 4: Open up the Rotate around a Point tool click on the line you want to rotate and select the point shown

Step 5: Type in 120 for the angle measurement

Step 6: Your tessellation should look like this, with the same line on the opposite side of the hexagon

Step 7: Repeat steps 4-8 2 more times until your drawing matches up with your first line as shown in these two images

Step 8: Change your toll back to your mouse and then two-finger click on the the polygon and click Remove Object to get rid of the hexagon. Do the same thing to the points

Step 9: Print out your design and cut it out. (I printed mine on card stock paper so it was thicker and easier to trace)

Step 10: Start tracing your design onto a piece of paper, and the edges should fit together like a puzzle.
Step 11: After you trace the image across the whole page add details and color all of them.
