I Am Poem: The Puffin
- I am a small little bird
- I wonder why I am so small
- I hear the others when they splash
- I see the waves as they crash
- I want to go for a long flight
- I am a bird of black and white
- I pretend to be like my Antarctic cousin
- I feel so small in this big world
- I worry for the humans hunt me
- I cry for my land lost in the 19th century
- I am from the Atlantic and the Pacific
- I understand how to eat and survive
- I say only what I can which is “Squawk”
- I dream of flying high into the sky
- I try to catch fish underwater as I fly
- I hope to live a long life
- I am the Puffin a part of ocean wildlife

I Am Poem: The Puffin
This poem is about Puffins. I used onomatopoeia to show how you sometimes feel like people don't understand what you are saying. I used a puffin for my I am poem because sometimes I feel small and insignificant. Other than onomatopoeia I used rhyming in this poem.

Re-Creation Poem: The Lost Firefighter
- As I look around the forest of trees surrounding me
- The world appears to be cover in orange and yellow
- I hear the wood cracking
- I see the smoke like a fog in the air hanging
- The house I am in becomes engulfed
- Fire and flames reaching out through all the window
- Trying to spread its burning grasp throughout the land
- Suddenly I feel a searing pain
- As I start to fall I take my last breath
- With tears in my eyes my body go numb
Re-Creation Poem: The Lost Firefighter
This poem is about a firefighter who becomes trapped in a house after saving the family who lived in it. I used personification to personify the fire and the flames. I used onomatopoeia and word associated with the five sense to make the reader feel like they are in a wildfire. This poem is meant to show the reader how firefighters put their lives on the line to save others.
Stylistic Imitation Poem: An Infamous Day
This poem is about the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This is meant to describe the tragic event that happened on December seventh 1941. For this poem I mainly used diction to convey death and destruction. I used repetition to emphasize the time that this tragic event happened. I used personification to personify the bombs and the ships.
Stylistic Imitation Poem: An Infamous Day
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- The time was exactly seven fifty-three in the morning
- The Japanese boarded their planes
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- They flew two hundred miles to Oahu Island
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- The bombs screamed through the air
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- Ships groaned and creaked
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- Screams began to fill the air
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- The sky was filled with black smoke
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- The harbor smelled of fuel and burning flesh
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- December 7th 1941
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
- The day Pearl Harbor was bombed
- At seven fifty-three in the morning
Definition Poem: Ouch!
- suffering : [suhf-er-ing, suhf-ring], noun
- The state of a person or thing that suffers
- When I go to school and ruin my day
- When I fall on my face on my way outside to play
- Taking a test I should have studied for
- When I run headfirst into a sliding glass door
- When you step on a lego which feels like a thumbtack
- When someone hits you with a tennis ball on the back
- When your P.E. teacher forces you to run
- When homework takes up all your time for fun
Definition Poem:Ouch!
This poem is all about suffering. From forgetting to turn in your homework to stepping on a lego block everyone has suffered at least a little bit. I used a simile in this poem to show how painful lego bricks can be. Other than the simile everything else is rhyming. This poem is meant to show people who are suffering that they are not alone and that every has suffered a some point in their life.
Limerick Poem: The Lord
This poem that I wrote is about an operator named Tachanka. Tachanka was born in Russia and joined Spetsnaz before joining the International Rainbow Six team. He plays defensive with a deployable turret as his gadget. I used only rhyming in this poem which mainly describes Tachanka's personality. I wrote this poem because Tachanka is one of my favorite operators in Rainbow Six Siege.
Limerick Poem: The Lord

- Roses are red and violets aren’t blue
- Tachanka has a turret it goes pew pew
- He believes in the Union
- His powers are inhuman
- So he is the savior for you
