It was a hot sunny summer day. My family and I decided to drive to the beach. We took a fast road that we drove 70 miles a hour. It seemed to take forever to get there, my brother and I sang songs and played find the color on the way there. We also saw many big trucks and many crazy drivers, by which I mean driving in and out of the lanes.

Yeah! We finally arrived at the beach! It felt like forever to get to the beach but it was worth it, it's such a hot day out and the water was cool so cool that other people said "the water feels great" So the first thing we did was go in the water. My brother and I said" Ohh this water feels so good, look there's a seagull".

While we were in the water we were splashing and swimming around and just relaxing in the cool water. After awhile I came out for a little bit and wanted to build sandcastles and look for seashells. " Hey mom wanna go look for some seashells"? "Yeah let's go look and see what we can find." So my mom and I walked up and down the beach looking for seashells and whatever else we could find for our castle.

Walking and looking around we found seashells and feathers for our sandcastle, after putting everything on the sandcastle the way we like it, my mom said "Lunchtime time to eat". So we laid out our towels and a big blanket and had lunch on the beach.
