Many thanks need to given for the creation of this book. My chemistry teacher being the biggest one - thank you Mr.Dougherty for teaching me everything I know and have written about in this book. You are the best!

The process from solid particles to liquid particles is called melting. In this changing, the solid particles are vibrating while the liquid particles are completely free. After the state change has happened, the particles will gain energy because they are gaining freedom and can move around instead of just vibrating in place.

The transition from a liquid material to a solid material is called freezing. After this process the particles will lose energy; this happens because they went from a free moving state to having to vibrate in place.
