To my precious granddaughter with an imagination as big as the universe..remember to always dream big.
Once upon a time, in the land of tiny princesses lived the sweetest princess of all. She was created with all God's beauty imaginable, her eyes the deep blue of the sea, her hair the color of the daffodil, her smile as radiant as the sun, and her spirit as wild as the wind. Ava Grace was given to her mom and dad by the Savior on March 13th.
On this sweet princess' third birthday, she was swinging on her brand new swing and singing,"Jesus Loves Me," when she noticed a three-legged turtle struggling to cross the lawn. Ava jumped from her swing, and raced to rescue the turtle. Ava and her daddy, the handsome king, built a nice cozy house for the turtle while Mallory, the queen went to Walmart for turtle food.
Weeks went by and everyday, Ava would feed, care, and play football with the turtle, she named Pegs. One morning, Ava raced out to Peg's house, and she was gone. She burst into tears, "Daddy, daddy, Pegs is missing, come quick!"
Ava and her daddy, the king searched the mountains around the castle but to no avail.
At the end of the day, Princess Ava knelt beside her bed and asked through tear-stained eyes for God to take care of Pegs and if it be His will help Pegs find his way back home to the castle. Princess Ava fell into a fretful sleep, and was awaken by a soft scratching at her window and a voice whispering, "Ava, Ava come to the pond, I need to talk with you." Ava tiptoed quietly down the stairs and out front door then raced to the pond.
