
Saul of Taruss was a Tentmaker and a Roman citizen. He was a Pharisee attempting to defend his Jewish religion. He joined Zeal in the persecution of the Christians. He was also present at the stoning of Stephen. As he saw this he saw a flash of light and saw the truth and became Paul the Apsotle. At that moment he was converted into a Christian.

Paul's Travels and Letters
After Paul was converted he journeyed throughout the Roman Empire teaching everyone about Jesus Christ. He walked about 6,000 miles in what are now called Turkey, Greece, Albania, Italy, Syria, and Lebanon. In these places he founded Christan communities such as Ephesus, Corinth, and Philippi. As he went on he kept in touch by writing letter to these city's on what to follow as time went on. He was took as a prisoner to Romeand was executed in 65 A.D. All together he wrote 13 letters to those Christain Communities.
