One day a girl named Pam woke up and got ready for school.

While enjoying her cereal which tasted of blueberry sweetness, Pam looked out her window to smell the great freshness of spring.

Pam walked to her cubby and complimented Lucy on her new blue shirt. Lucy smiled and walked away.

Pam then walked to her desk.

At Pam's desk the girl next to her, Mya, dropped a pencil. Pam rushed to pick it up for her. Mya smiled at Pam and walked away.

At lunch Tim didn't have any food to eat. Pam felt so bad she gave him half her sandwich. Tim took her sandwich and ate it happily.

On the way to recess Pam was the first one out the door. She remembered her manners and held the door for everyone in her class.

Pam began to feel sad. She had done so many nice things all day and it seemed as if no one had noticed.

Pam had always been very shy and recess seemed to last forever as she sat on the swing rocking from side to side. She felt a cool breeze blow by and then heard the classic "BZZZZ" that came from the recess whistle.

Pam couldn't believe what she had saw! She was picked for her kindness! She was so happy the teacher had chosen her. Other students clapped and cheered as Pam walked to her seat.
