Long time ago, in a far distant place called Lothbrook land (in tribute to a respectable Viking who freed many from slavery in this land) lived a very imaginative, perceptive and brave youngster named Jacob, a senior student who really enjoyed creating new things, at least in his mind.

He was a kind of lazy but brilliant person and thanks to it, he was quite creative, if he didn’t want to do something but had to do it, he would find an easier way to complete his tasks, that’s how his brain hemispheres worked. This is not bad at all.

Jacob’s parents (The kingdom’s artillery fixers) were intrigued by what Jacob would like to do in his life, because he had never mentioned it and during that time in Loothbrookland a war was being unleashed against the king's corruption, and the king was demanding new personnel from villages that had not yet been revealed against the kingdom to join the army.

There was a war which needed to be won, many people who would like to do the professional preparation were being prepared to fight instead, forced to accompany the king in the battlefield or die trying.

One day, Jacob’s mom had an accident while she was sharpening the swords for the kingdom’s army, she made a false movement and a molten sword blade fell on her foot.
The healers could only numb the pain but they couldn't save her foot . She was no more able to walk or work as well as before.

What she was going through, made Jacob realize of something, and it was about his future. Everyday he saw his mother suffering about not being able to walk again and this situation made Jacob really sad.
So he wanted to help her by making something that could support her to walk again, because there were no alternatives but to stay at home and live restrictedly due to her condition. Jacob was a creative and smart guy so he created a technical assistance, adapted a chair with 4 wheels, which he called “wheelchair” and gave it to his mother.

The problem was that he made it without the king’s approval, The king noticed this and he got really impressed on the invention Jacob made, but the king’s thought was about winning the war, not inventing new stuffs. So, the king gave Jacob two options: one was to fight and help the king to win the war against the revealed villagers (as a soldier) or invent something that could accomplish the first option, but without fighting, only inventing.

War?
Invent?
