Way back when people were controlled by the color of their skin..... There was a man named Malcom X.

Malcolm was assassinated due to his race and his beliefs.

After this assassination two men, Huey Newton and Bobby Seale, felt it was their duty to protect their fellow African-Americans and create the Black Panther Party.

The black panther party spread all across the country and had roughly 2,000 members by 1968.

Along with protecting their fellow African Americans, the Black Panther Party also wanted to be known politically.

Huey and Bobby came up with a 10 point program which called to end police brutality, employment for African Americans, and land, housing, and justice for all.

However the Black Panthers were never really taken seriously due to some bad apples in their party.

In the end The Black Panther Party disappeared in 1982 after the FBI had been hunting them down for years.
