I dedicate this book to all the children of the world who have unfulfilled dreams.

It was another steamy evening in the blistering heat of the 2015 summer. A young firefly was resting peacefully on the branch of an old oak tree in the Smoky Mountains of Eastern Tennessee. As the sun went down and the stars came up he looked to the sky once again dreaming of one day flying beyond the sky to see them.

So Owen, the young firefly, went to the only person who he thought could help, the elder of the village. "How can I reach the stars," he asked. " I have heard tell of a place far down south where men take off in ships and visit the stars, but beware the journey is long and even if you arrive you may not reach the stars or even return." The elder replied.

So Owen decided that if he did anything in his life at all he wanted to visit the stars. He went home and told his mother, Martha, that he was going on a long journey south to fulfill his dreams. She told him" When I was your age I had dreams too, but my parents forbid me from fulfilling them. I had too many responsibilities. I hope you get what you are looking for."

So Owen set off on the journey of a lifetime. As he ventured out into the woods around his village he began to think he should have waited till morning to leave. Swish. A dark shadow swiftly overshadowed him as a giant owl landed beside him on the tree limb. "Who are you?" asked the owl. " and why are you out so late at night?"At first, Owen was scared but he thought that if the owl was going to eat him he would have done so all ready.
