Even though I am small, each and every day I grow and develop and learn new things!

Each day I try new things and learn about where, and who, I am! It may be silly for you to see me clapping my hands- but that is just me practicing!

As I practice this simple movement, I am learning to control my own body. I have entered into the Sensiormotor stage of my development!

At this stage, I am exploring by using my body and my senses. (Berk, 2013). The clapping sound I am learning to make shows me how my hands feel and how they sound! I am learning!

When I get sad, I have learn to soothe myself by putting my thumb in my mouth.

I learned this through exploring my senses and now I am happy!

But sometimes when I am sad I need help to feel better. A bottle usually does the trick!

When Mommy picks me up, I stop crying! This is because I am learning I can trust her and that feeding time will be soon!

I love playing with Daddy! He hands me a ball. I wonder what will happen if I drop it...

Daddy brings it back! I like this game and drop the ball more! I am learning the things I do cause a reaction!
