Hi. I'm Dijon, and I'm a rescue dog. Here's my story on how I found my forever home.

On a sunny beautiful day in July, my potential family was returning from a day of travel and shopping. They headed down Maple Street past a small pocket park. Suddenly, they came upon this small dog scurrying around looking for food. That small dog was ME!

I was walking and sniffing. A nice lady came up to me and said, "Hi"! " Are you lost little dog"? You look hungry! You are very dirty too. " Do you want to come home with me"? Without any hesitation I jumped in her car. I saw another lady in the car, and and two other people. Everyone was staring at me, I wonder why?

I went up to one lady and sat myself on her lap.The lady looked at me frightened, " Don't bite me," she said. I did not bite her and I was so tired.The car was so nice and breezy. I went to sleep.

The lady that had invited me to ride with them said, "Don"t worry Sweetie, we will take care of you". Somehow I knew I had found some people who were alright.

I looked excitedly out the window as the trees went by. I fell asleep again.

We went to a place I have never seen before. It was full of goodies, people, and other animals that looked like me walking around happy. One of my ladies went up to talk to this man. He told her to bring me back tomorrow, whatever that meant.
