-Movement

Defenition: tells how and why people, things, and ideas move from place to place.

Examples: cars, bikes, boats, planes, the internet, and even talking on the phone.

These people are in a boat, moving across the lake or whatever body of water they're on. This is an example of movement.

-Regions

Defenition: areas that share some of the same characteristics (physical or cultural)

Examples: mountain or western & spanish or religion regions.

This is a picture of a mountain region. This is more of a physical region.

-Location (absolute or relative)

Defentition(s): Location- tells where something is

Absolute- exact or specific Relative- general; tells where something is in relation to other things

Examples: Absolute- address) 316 Eisenhower st. or latitude and longitude) 43.7730 N, 88.4471 W

Relative- near the dairy queen

-Interaction (human-environment)

Defenition: tells how people interact with the environment and how the environment affects people.

Examples: -Littering, growing crops, clear land for building

-affects how we dress - affects our activities, shoveling, sports.

In the picture on the right, you can

see that the people are wearing

winter clothing. This is an example of

interaction.

-Place

Defenition: Describes the features of the place that makes the site unique (land, climate, and people)

Examples: Living on the coastal area, Washington D.C's monuments

This picture shows that central park make New York City unique. It is not New York itself, but it is a place there.

One last thing:

NEVER make a pepper mad. It will get Jalapeno face.
