Once there was a middle school boy, his name was Cameron boxer. He loved to play video games. That was all he liked to do. "Video games are my lifestyle," Cam said.
One day while Cam was playing video games, Cam's mom asked him "Please take out the baked ziti from the oven in 10 minutes." She was going to the store. Cam wasn't paying attention and the ziti caught fire, so the fire department broke down the front door to put out the fire.

Later that night at dinner Cameron's parents told Cam they were disappointed in him. Cam's mom said, "We want you to be more involved at home and join a club in school." They told him if he didn't, he would not be able to play video games anymore!

Cam felt sad that he couldn't play video games as much any more. Then, he had an idea! He made a fake club with the help of his two friends Pavel and Chuck. He said "I have initiative. It takes a lot of work to do as little as I've done for the past thirteen years."

They hacked the school website and created a fake club. "We create this splashy web page about a group of do-gooders and the amazing ways we serve the citizens of Sycamore," Cam said. They thought of a club that did good deeds throughout the community. It was called the Positive Action Group and the P.A.G. was born.

The P.A.G. was secret until one day a fellow classmate, Daphne, came across the website while on her computer. She loved the idea of the club and wanted to get involved. Daphne said, "I've got a ton of great ideas. There are so many people and animals who need help around here." So, she asked the school counselor, Mr. Fanshaw, about it. Mr. Fanshaw did not know anything about the club either.

Mr. Fanshaw decided to talk to Cam about the P.A.G. He found Cam in the bathroom playing games on his phone. Instead of yelling at him, Mr. Fanshaw asked Cam about the P.A.G. club. Mr. Fanshaw wanted to get the P.A.G. club started. He suggested to Cam, "Why don't you see if Daphne can meet you in the art room after school to make some posters?" That was the last thing Cam wants to do.

Many other classmates started to hear about the P.A.G. and wanted to join to be "paggers". This included a football player called "The String" who was kicked off the team for bad grades. Everyone wanted to get started except for Cam. Mr. Fanshaw held the first meeting. Mr. Fanshaw said, "The senior citizens' garden project on Seventh Street is due for its fall cleanup." The project even made the newspaper.
