My name is Eric. I am 14 years old living on a farm with my family. We all work on the farm to provide for our society

Today we are planting corn. We rotate the way we plant crops to increase production.

When planting seeds we use a seed drill. A seed drill plants the seeds into the best soil which is a certain depth down.

Stacking hey bales is very important as a farmer, it allows us to check inventory and make sure our livestock have enough food.

Today my father told me and my brother to feed the livestock. He always asks us to because he knows how much we enjoy it.

I walked along the rows of apple trees looking for ripe apples to pick.

Us farmers work a lot so we only get one day off each week. On this day we wash our dirty clothes and play games for fun.
