Chapter one: a phone call

Every town has a house. A house that doesn't quite fit in. sometimes that house is evil...

It Was a beautiful day in London Ontario, for Katelen anyway. Katelen lived in a small house on fourth avenue. Anyway....on That beautiful day Katelen was sitting at the kitchen table doing her homework. Her mom was in the shower and her dad at work. She was busy with math problems When suddenly her phone rang!

When she checked who was calling her Katelen saw it was from the house across the street. The house nobody dared to enter. Katelen was always suspicious of that house but never expected this! She did not know what to do and without thinking she awnserd it. Through the phone she heard a roar then she heard loud high pitched shriek. she immediately hung up.

Chapter 2 figures

She was unsure about what she had just heard. She ran upstairs to get her mom. Strangely enough she did not hear the shower going. She looked all over the house for her mom. Her mom was nowhere to be found. She looked across the street to where the house was. In the window she saw two silhouettes. One a hand holding a knife. The knife was pointed at the second silhouette who was crouching. Before Katelen could see what happened they disappeared.

Chapter 3: roots

Katelen turned away surprised. She looked through her closet to see if she had something she could throw at the window but when she turned around she could not see out the window!!!!!!!! It had been covered with blackish purple thorny vines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
