Rémy is a small rat that has a very refined sense of smell and taste, it doesn't eat garbage like its peers do. Rémy's idol is the famous and eccentric French chef Auguste Gusteau. One day it loses its colony of rats and is led by the ghost of gusteau, who died, to his restaurant currently governed by Gusteau's deputy called Skinner. Skinner takes on a kitchen boy named Alfredo Linguini who, with the help of Rémy, manages to take possession of the restaurant. Indeed Rèmy expresses his great talent through the boy, standing in his hat, guiding him like a puppet, in fact the Linguini moves the limbs when the mouse pulls him certain tufts of hair. Rèmy cooks the reworking of the ratatouille which was very successful but Linguini confesses to everyone that the cook of all those dishes was not him but a mouse so the place is closed. So they open a new restaurant, Ratatouille, a smaller but much-frequented restaurant, where people eat in the dining room and the colony of mice moves into the attic, where there is a little restaurant just for them

In one of Paris' finest restaurants, Remy, a determined young rat, dreams of becoming a renowned French chef. Torn between his family's wishes and his true calling, Remy and his pal Linguini set in motion a hilarious chain of events that turns the City of Lights upside down.
We loved this film because it teaches to never give up no matter what happens in your life.

Remy dreams of becoming a great chef, despite being a rat in a definitely rodent-phobic profession. He moves to Paris to follow his dream, and with the help of hapless garbage boy Linguini he puts his culinary skills to the test in the kitchen but he has to stay in hiding at the same time, with hilarious consequences. Remy eventually gets the chance to prove his culinary abilities to a great food critic.
We loved this film because it shows that eventually if you are good at something, people start appreciate it.

Remy is a member of a large family of rats. The rats are evicted from their cozy home in a cottage-kitchen, Remy washes up near the river, in view of the most famous restaurant in France. This is the establishment of Auguste Gusteau, author of the best-seller "Anyone Can Cook". Linguini and Remy meet, somehow establish trust and communication, and when Linguini gets credit for a soup that the rat has saved with strategic seasonings, they team up. Remy burrows into Linguini's hair, is concealed by his toque, can see through its transparent sides and controls Linguini by pulling on his hair as if each tuft were a joystick. Together, they astonish Paris with their genius.
We loved this film because it shows that no matter who we are we can seek our goals.

The hero is Remy , a young rat who lives somewhere in the French countryside and conceives a passion for fine cooking. What Remy discovers is that anyone, including his uncultured brother, can be taught to appreciate intense and unusual flavors. Remy’s budding culinary vocation sets him on a lonely course, separating him from his clannish family and sending him off, like so many young men from the provinces before him, to seek his fortune in Paris.
We liked this film because the hero is very determined and wants to learn things.
