To BJ Beverly who gave me a reason to live. Rest In Paradise Bestfriend. 11.25.01-11.5.17

So, my name is Trinity Grace Bell. I'm 15 years old, and I'm from the ghetto. So, therefore, I've seen stuff no average teen should see. I've made books on this account before a couple of years ago, but I was young and dumb at the beginning of my adolescent years. I've seen a lot in my life. I'm not here to share my whole life; unfortunately, it would probably be too long. But I'm here to hopefully give teens struggling throughout the world some hope, and hopefully, help some understand that pain won't last forever. Thank you for reading. Enjoy.

I've seen a lot throughout the years. I've contemplated suicide multiple times. I've been in residential placements. I know how people that are from areas that are highly dangerous are exposed to more traumatic things than any normal teenager should be. I personally am bisexual, and I get highly judged about it.
People are evil. The world is unfair. I feel that if this was a fairer world, a lot of people would be in trouble. Bad things happen to really good people. It really isn't fair. I wish it was. Everyone struggles. I'm not going to sit here and lie and say "Everything will be okay eventually". NEWS FLASH!! Life will never fully be okay. But what I'm trying to tell you is that you need tools to deal with them hard times. It's hard, I know. But YOU CAN DO IT!
Drugs
Are a big problem in society (Including Me). I feel like a lot of our problems in society come from addiction and substance abuse. I feel like most teens do it because they feel like it'll make them look cool,(Been there) but it doesn't. It leads to bad health and loss of people that care about you the most.
Gangs
Are a BIG problem nowadays. Too much violence stems from teens joining gangs to feel comfort and for the loyalty. Loyalty does come with gangs, but so does your life. Once you're in, there is no getting out. EVER. Younger kids come up to me all the time talking about how"cool" that lifestyle is. It breaks my heart. What's so cool about giving your life away??
I'm only 15 years old, and I have seen stuff some adults haven't even seen. I've been raised in a rough neighborhood. I've done and seen too many things in my life. And some think it's cool?? No. It's ridiculous, to be honest. Going and shooting up a house because you want your money back is NOT cool. In fact, It makes you look real weak!
Music is starting to affect society pretty negatively. People are listening to the rappers nowadays who talk about doing drugs and gangbanging and hitting a lick on people... Where has our humanity gone? I see young kids walking rapping and listening to that junk, and yes, I do as well, but they want to be like that. They are so young, they think it's normal. It's not. Living life in fear that you might die today? Definitely not.
