They toured among the colorful flowers. Then they saw a different flower. Mr. Rabbit and Mrs. Rabbit ate this flower.Mrs. Rabbit and Mr. Rabbit suddenly became huge.They couldn't go through the hole again.They lived a lifetime happily in the spring season...

At the end of winter

Once upon a time, there was a bear called Nicolás. It was very lazy, funny and talkative. It lived in a tree house.

One day, after some weeks of light rest, Nicolas woke up and discovered how much the landscape had changed...

The day that Nicolás woke up he was very hungry and he decided to go to the honey tree from the forest. It was only 500 meters away so the bear, who was also very clumsy, went towards his house' door and he putted on his t-shirt. He left his house and started to walk. When it was 100 meters away he fell in a quicksand. Nicolás already had the sand around his neck when Marfiela, the unicorn, arrived.

With her horn helped Nicolas to come out of the quicksand. Nicolás and Marfiela became friends. Marfiela wanted to accompany Nicolas, and they continue walking. When they were 300 meters away Nicolás tripped with a banana peel and injured his head.

Nicolás continued walking but with a terrible headache. Marfiela wanted to do a race with Nicolás and he accepted.

3,2,1 GO!!! The race started when they were only 50 meters away from the tree and Nicolás was winning!!! When he was running he turned his head to look to Marfiela but he crashed on to the honey tree. The honey tree was stuffed with honey. One branch of the tree fell on Nicolás' legs and he got a very big stain. The bees were chasing Nicolás so he started running another time and he tripped to the lake and the bees drowned.

What a day! Thought Nicolás licking the honey in his arms.

Magical Trees in Spring

Once upon a time when the spring started, all the trees were blossoming. But there was one tree which didn’t start its blossoms and nobody knew why. Everybody felt happy that the spring came. All the trees, flowers, grass, butterflies and birds were colourful and happy. But the tree called Mino was depressed, sad, mean, dried up and lean. And he lived in a shadow. But one magical day Mino met another tree whose name was Luke. (Lijana Ivoskiene(7c), Raseiniai Saltinis Progymnasium, Lithuania)

Mino asked: _ Why you blossomed but I didn't blossom ? Luke said , because you are in a shadow. Mino asked himself : What can I do ?

Mino said ; I wish before evening I want to blossom.In front of tree's name is Alex.Mino request from Alex that

_ Please open my front.go ahead two or three steps.Because I can't see sunlight .And I can't blossom. When the sun rises Mino blossoms happily ever after.

The planet of Spring

One day, some aliens who lived on a grey and black planet, met together because they felt sad.

Their leader told them that on a nearby planet, it was possible to see different colours every three months and the most beautiful colour was spring.

Therefore they decided to leave their planet and to reach the nearby planet, in order to admire that wonder.

They landed on a large lawn full of colourful flowers on board of their spaceship.

When they saw so many colours, they immediately  felt happier, so they thought to collect the petals of flowers and bring them to their planet.

A squirrel appeared before picking up the leaves of the flowers. He said that the leaves of the flowers would fade because they were cut off,they would take the flower.He stated that they should talk to people for this.

The aliens found people, they explained what kind of planet they live on, why they want to bring flowers.People also said that air, water, soil and sunlight are needed for the living of flowers, if they provide , they can give seeds.

The aliens returned to their planets and worked.They created a greenhouse for flowers. They created a garden of thousands of colors with the seeds they bought from the world. They have always been happy.

Welcome Spring

Once upon a time there was a world without colours,everything was grey and white;the rivers,the lakes and the sea were frozen;the meadows and the forests were covered with snow.One day,the fairy of the wood,named Spring,tired of all that grayness and cold,decided to go up to the sky and to move the clouds.So she blow hard and made the light on the earth.Colours everywhere!

What had happened?

A few days later another fairy appeared. Her name was Winter. The two fairies soon became friends. However, one day they had a conflict over the appearance of the world. Fairy Winter tried to make everything grey again and she made it. Greyness and cold spread all over the world!

Fairy spring became sad and angry and tried to bring back the colour to the world. She made it too!

Fairy Winter realized her mistake and she made an agreement with Fairy Spring. For three months of the year nothing would be grey and everything would be colourful.

They decided to call this season of the year Spring!

Welcome spring

There is a gentle windy in the air It is a light spring breeze in the air. And all animals are happy: there is Spring in the air!

Birds sing in their nest on the tree branch!

Lambs play in the field!

Kites sail in the sky!

Trees wave in the wood!

Ducks quack in the river!

And coloured flowers bloom everywhere!

Grasslands were full of flowers and bees and butterflies absorbed their nectar. The small children were happy to play in the ground. The Sun was happy too ,for being able to warm stll this part of the Earth. All around was surrounded by Happiness

             "Spring, joy and color"

In spring, the youngest daughter of the old year, the one who brings joy

and joy, has come to us with her bouquet of flowers, light and color.

Everything is wrapped in the mantle of light of the sun, which gently touches

the earth and all living things. The blue vault is reflected in the clear

waters of the rivers. The days are milder and longer, and the nights shorter.

         Spring has spread a

multi-colored carpet everywhere. The fields and hills have blossomed and the

orchards are preparing to bloom. In the woods, the muscle of the trees is soft

as a pillow, and the fir trees that have just dropped their snow coat look

proudly at the sun. In the deserts the blossom of the poppy bleached and an

easy-to-find fragrance spreads at the expression of the twilight wind.

Spring brought the meadow to life. The butterflies fly, the stinging bees begin their sweet humming among the flowers. The beetles and beetles sleep in the sun, defrosting their wings and feet. Traveling birds seem like swarms of blue sea. The happy swallow, the turtle and the cherry sturgeon in the opening of the great spring concert.

And people are enjoying this rebirth of nature. The donkeys resounded by

the buzz of the tractors and the hum of buzz. In the orchards people clean the

trees, and in the gardens dig the earth to put seedlings.        With her coat full of light,

spring divides her youthful, cheerful, and colorful pastel. Let us all enjoy

this wonderful Tuesday received as a gift from the gentle spring.

10.Spring 2100

It was the beginning of the spring of 2100 and, in San Fernando de Henares, the preparations for Holy Week began and also they were ready for a very special trip.

Planet Earth was very polluted and humans had decided to send animals back to space, to reach Mars, but then, there was an earthquake in "San Fernando de Henares."

The animals were in the Guernica Space Center, where the heating boiler exploded and they were trapped. The explosion affected all the animals except a polar bear, an owl, a rabbit, an eagle and an alien dog. Several super heroines went to save them.

The polar bear, as it was the largest, was the most difficult to rescue and the owl was injured in a wing.

The super heroines took the animals to the vet and then, they discovered that the animals had super powers ...

... The super powers the animals acquired in the explosion were the powers to communicate with Nature and control the weather. So the super heroines brought them back to the polluted Earth and they decided to regenerate the Earth's climate and nature. After people almost destroyed the Earth, animals with the superpowers saved it. With their powers they were able to control the rain, the sun, the wind and they were able to prevent tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, droughts and forest fires. They cleaned the rivers, lakes and the oceans, the air and stopped global warming and the melting of the ice caps.

Soon the Earth's nature started to heal and people waited in fear for the long winter to be over and to see if plants will start to grow in the spring. When the spring finally came, plants started growing and the sun shining, the birds singing and bees buzzing happily from flower to flower. There was an explosion of colours and sounds. Everybody was singing: "The spring is here! The planet is saved!"

The animals with the superpowers made people promise not to endanger the planet ever again and then they mysteriously disappeared. With the spring started the new life of the planet Earth. THE END

A MYSTERIOUS SPRING STORY

Spring had arrived. Kerem was eating lunch in the garden with his parents. The sun was shining, the flowers had started to bloom and it was finally spring break.

" Time for spring cleaning!" said Nergiz, Kerem's mother. They were going to clean the house from top to bottom to prepare for the arrival of spring. Kerem and his sister Aslı ran in the house to start cleaning. Kerem began by tidying his room and dusting everywhere.

Meanwhile, Aslı was wiping the cupboards in the kitchen. They decided to stop and have a small break. They grabbed a few ice creams and sat in the warm spring sun in the garden. They listened to the birds chirp happily. It was nearly 4 o'clock by the time they got back to cleaning and most of the house had already been done. Their father told Kerem that he had to start cleaning the attick. Kerem called for his sister Aslı and they went up to the attick together. They began wiping,dusting, tidying and sweeping.

Kerem was just sorting out some boxes when he noticed one really old dusty box sitting on a shelf.He called Aslı over and asked if she knew what it was. "No, but it's too far up to reach..." she replied. Kerem got a stool from by the door and carried it to where the shelf was. He climbed on the stool and carefully retrieved the box. It was covered in layers of dust and it was obvious it hadn't been touched in years. Aslı took the box off him curiously. They opened it and looked inside...

... and they found a book. On the book cover said ‘Spring’ but inside the book all the pages were blank, only the cover was red.

The children were very disappointed to see that boring thing: not funny, not sad... what a way to start the spring! 

Then they left the book in the box and continue tidying the house, but, of course, not in the same mood. 

Years went by and the world changed, technology advanced and the

trees and flowers did not grow because of technology, the spring was

gone.

Kerem and Asli got older and remembered spring. Suddenly, the mysterious old book came to their minds because it was the only good  memory about their last spring.

Brother and sister went back to the attic to look for the old book. Finally, they found the book and they felt happy again. Then Asli opened the book and both wished they had Spring back again. So they decided to write their favourite things about spring.

After that Kerem said it was time to go home. They went to bed and next morning Kerem and Asli rushed to the house and saw a spectacular garden. Was the book magic after all? Long live the Spring!

    Once there was an old man who was a widower. He was living in an abandoned house in the forest and all he ate was planted by him. At the end of the autumn he realized that he hadn’t corn and he went to a stand to buy some seeds.

But when he arrived there, his hopes narrowed. He hadn’t enough money to buy even half the amount he needed.

 The seller proposed a barter: ”Man, you are handsome! I don’t want money but if you give me your hat I will give you a special seed. From it will exit a little thing with white hat. But you need to wait until spring comes... ”

He waited and, waited for Spring and it finally came!

The man went to his garden to see what grew out of the seed, however, it was open and nothing was inside. He saw the bushes moving and followed the noise. Something with a white hat was jumping around, he tried to catch it, but it was too fast! The creature ran to his house and sat on the table next to his Easter eggs. Then he finally understood that it was the Easter bunny! The bunny became his best friend and they celebrated each holiday together.

It is the first days of spring.Bears are awakening from their sleep. Birds are coming back to their nests. Wolves are going to the cold mountains.

My name is John. My friend's name is Dwayne. I'm going to the forest with him.We are planning to go trekking.We have backpacks and some food,some water,some matches, a tent and a sleeper in them.

Wolf Forest is a great place for trekking. It is better than Atana Forest. We are excited to be here and a bit scared because Wolf Forest is full of animals and danger.

It's popular with its wolves and bears.There are legends about this forest. Dwayne and I are crazy about adventure.

Now we're in the forest. Dwayne thinks it's really scary and fantastic.

John: Hurry up Dwayne!It's getting dark. We need to pitch our tent.

Dwayne:I'm seeing the waterfall.Listen,how it sounds magically! Let's pitch it near it.

It was extremely cold night but boys were prepared for it. They pitched their tent, ate warm supper and went to sleep. Unfortunately they couldn't sleep through the loud waterfall. Dwayne and John packed up and set off into the dark forest. They thought that in case of it sleeping has no sense and went to the forest to look for wolves.

Dwayne heard about white she-wolf before and he wanted to take a picture of it. People who saw it called it Shadow although its fur was bright like a star.

Suddenly they have heard something strange. Boys quickly hid behind a big tree and observed bushes in the dark.

THE CHERRY TREE PATH

On a beautiful morning at the end of winter, a young girl named Cherry was wandering into the forest to pick up firewood for her house. Suddenly she saw an enormous and beautiful cherry tree in blossom. She decided to have a closer look at it. So she dropped her branches and walked towards the cherry tree. Completely attracted by the tree, she didn’t see a deep hole on the ground and fell. After her hurting fall, she opened her eyes and discovered a breath taking and enchanting world. There were colorful flowers, blooming shrubs everywhere and trees were like dancing under the sun.

She decided to explore this amazing new world but there were 3 different paths in front of her. She didn’t know which one to choose when suddenly she saw someone coming out from the bushes. It was a young boy about her age. They stared at each other for a long moment and then a spontaneous and friendly connection was established between them. They decide to explore this new world together but they couldn’t imagine the ordeals they were going to meet during their journey...

Cherry found out that the young boy's name was Archie.And it really suited him,he was so cheerful and funny.A long time ago he also fell down through the hole and he didn't see his family for a long time.This amazing underground fantasy world was full of little creatures and blooming flowers,and his life there was peaceful.But still ,he missed his family

So they both decided to find the way out and return to the real world.Archie and Cherry stopped to think about everything and sat under the magic tree.The tree was very old and wise.It told them a story about a little elf that knew the way out of the magic world. Cherry and Archie searched for the little elf.Soon they found him asleep on a colorful meadow.They asked him for help.''Only if you solve the riddle''he said.''When you say my name ,I'm already gone!What am I ?''

Cherry and Archie thought hard and suddenly it came up to their mind.''Of course,it's the silence''.The moment they said the word a bright light appeared in front of them.It led them forward,along the middle path.While walking they could feel the grass touching their feet and hear the birds' song.Archie and Cherry felt excited.While they were leaving the enchanted world they knew that the real magic was hidden inside their hearts.

ALICE AND CHERRY TREE

I am very excited.At the end it is my turn.I was very alone and bored in winter.I didn't do anything but now I can see lots of children around me,lots of birds on my arms.Now I have lots of friends;flowers,animals,children.I am very happy now.

Oh Look ! An old lady is walking.

A little child is walking his dog for a walk.The sun is shining.A colourful bird is greeting me.Bird is asking to me:

'We haven't seen each other for a long time.How are you ? How was winter ?'

'The winter was too long and boring.It was very cold and windy so my arms were broken but now they are very strong and green,and they are blossoming.How was your journey ?Where did you fly ?

'I flew over the mountains.I saw lots of birds like me.They were immigrating,too.But now I am here because I missed spring a lot.'

'Look ! Our friend Alice is coming.She must have missed us too.'

'Hi my sweety cherry tree.You look so colourful.I can see your beautiful flowers and green leaves.If you allow me I want to swing on your arms.'

'Of course honey.I was waiting for this moment.We were very bored so it's time to have fun.'

I talked with the bird for a while. We became friends. Every day we had fun together.Either we would walk around the gardens and make jokes to people who were laughing or I would go to school and I could see it through the window flying and dropping from branch to branch.

We also liked to be under a cherry tree where we would sing together. I liked him very much. I called him "Happy" because he lived each day as if it was his last. But one day I came out of school and I called him but he did not answer to me. I was worried and I found him near the school, he had an injured wing. I helped him to get better but he couldn't fly anymore...

Even with all his strength, he couldn't fly back to his family. His face was sad and melancholy for several days. One day, an old lady saw me helping him to fly away near the cherry tree, she approached and said: « Your bird will not be able to fly away without certain care. Do you want me to help you? »

I cried: « Thank you, Miss, he is really very sad at the moment »

She confided to me: « In all the tears lingers a hope. Sometimes you have to fall before you learn to fly ». She took care of Happy and I often visited this old lady because I was told her husband died and she was lonely...

But, fortunately, Happy and I were there to bring out her beautiful smile.

Happy sang: « Smile is the scent of happiness! » We had met under our lucky tree, the cherry tree.

SPRING WAS LATE

Every year on March 21, Spring arrives on time to awaken the animals from long lethargy, to sprout the first flowers, to let the birds sing on the trees and above all to give love, peace and joy in every heart.  That time Spring was late, there had been no change, everything was colorless. All the other animals who had noticed this went to report everything to the queen of the woods, a beautiful, colorful butterfly with magical powers.

The queen was shocked by all this then tried with her magical powers to make Spring appear, but every attempt was futile. She was very confused and angry she could not understand the cause of what was happening, so she began to flit through the woods to find a solution and above all who was the architect of these evil powers.

The queen of the forest was very brave and did not give up. She searched for days,but then she came to a lake. That was the heart of hear forest. The lake was very long but something was wrong. It contained only blackness, infinitely blackness. The queen was surprised but said to herself: „You have to save your forest!“ Then she got the idea, she called all the forest creatures, but she needed only one. All the birds come, all the rabbits, bears and even the wolves.But the queen was looking for someone mise but quick, brave but deftly, someone to help her save spring. 

She knew that only one animal could do that and that is Swallow, but she was not there.The other birds and some squirrels offered to find Swallow and they were on their way. They searched for her a very long time, over the oceans, mountains and big cities, but she was gone. In the meantime the forest was paying more and more, there was not food and the worst, queen began to lose her powers. The birds were tired of looking for but one day, quite by accident they landed on the ship.They were very suprised when they saw that Swallow was there. She was healing here wing there,but when she heard something bad was going on, she went into the wood. When she arrived the queen was very sick. Her wings had lost color, but in her hands she was holding the last glowing dust. 

„ I knew you would come!“-she said and on Swallow's tail put the dust. The Swallow immediately went to the lake. When she saw him, she shed a tear „That shouldn't happen to my forest,“ she breathed. Angry and rushed she croshed into the lake. She was gone, everyone thought she was dead, but then she jumped out of the lake and spilled fairy dust whit her tail. The heart of the forest has regained its color,the forest flourished again, the long-awaited spring has arrived. The queen began to recover. She believed in a Swallow and it paid of.

The forest could again enjoy in a beautiful spring.
