It was an ordinary school day. The lesson was math. For Alişan, math was quite tough and complex; that’s why, he began doing what he enjoyed most, drawing.

Math ugh!

Zehra teacher was aware of this, she was thinking that he was a prodigy and she loved his paintings. Zehra teacher came up with an idea. She wanted Alişan to join the project “Form your future with colors” conducted by Turkish Education Association. That way, he could have shown his skills. At the end of the lesson, Zehra teacher called him over and she talked about the project to him.

This made Alişan very happy and he started working on that. He was drawing many artistic paintings one after another. 

When he came to school tomorrow morning, he showed Zehra teacher the paintings which he drew passionately. She admired them and told him to continue drawing those. Alişan got encouraged by teacher’s remarks.

Then, he went on doing what he could do best more fervently. He was so excited that he even forgot eating with his parents. His mother, having no idea about the project, entered his room to call him over to dinner. When she saw what Alişan was doing, she got angry. 

She didn't want Alişan to draw pictures because that would hinder Alişan from becoming a very successful doctor. Alişan told his mother about the project eagerly but this was futile, due to the fact that she scolded and forbid him to draw pictures. 

Alişan went to school joylessly. He didn't have the passion he had yesterday. Zehra teacher noticed this sudden change and she asked Alişan what happened last night. Alişan told her everything. Hearing what Alişan had to say, Zehra teacher got upset and decided to talk to his parents and try to convince them to help Alişan. For this reason, she invited his parents to school. 

When she said what she had to say, Alişan’s parents objected this and refused for Alişan to go to that project. However, Zehra teacher was determined and dauntless to achieve what’s in her mind. She sent the paintings to the project.

It was all forgotten after three weeks when the result of the project was announced. The winner was Alişan. Zehra teacher tells Alişan the results. Alişan was very surprised and happy to hear that. This was heard all of the school, everyone in the school was talking about the results.

Fearing that they would scold him again, Alişan did not tell the news to his parents. While they all were on dinner, the telephone rang.
