Buckingham palace
Buckingham Palace resides in the very heart of London, Built as the Buckingham House in 1703, the palace was originally constructed by William Winde as a large townhouse for Duke Buckingham.
In 1761, King George III bought the property as a private residence for Queen Charlotte, earning it the title The Queen’s House.
In 1837, the palace became the London Residence of one of Britain’s most famous and longest reigning monarchs, Queen Victoria.
Buckingham Palace features 775 rooms. When the Queen is not in residence, typically around late July to late September, the beautiful State Rooms at Buckingham palace are open to the public, attracting tourists from all over the world!

London Eye
London Eye is London's newest major tourist attraction. It is a huge wheel designed to celebrate the Millenium year 2000.The Eye was built between 1998 and 2000. Each rotation of the wheel takes about 30 minutes The London Eye is 135m . The Eye was created as a symbol for the end of the 20th century, and it opened to the public in March 2000. Since that time it has become the most popular visitor (paid) attraction in he UK. Over 3.5 million visitors enjoy the London Eye every year, and on a clear day, those visitors can see as far as 40 km. There are 32 capsules attached to the wheel. Each capsule can accommodate 25 people.

Big Ben
Big Ben is the largest of the six bells in Westminster Palace. Many people think that it’s a name of the clock tower in London, but in fact the name refers to the 13-ton bell, which is inside of the tower. The official name of Big Ben is Elizabeth Tower (in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign).
Despite other names, the name "Big Ben" remains the most popular and is used for the general designation of the tower, clock and bell.
The clock on the Big Ben Tower in London is the largest in the world by far. The diameter of the dial is 7 meters.
Tower Bridge The bridge was completed in 1894. It is about 240 metres in length and provides an opening 76 metres . The bridge usually opens at least once a day and if you’re a boat that requires an opening, you need to book it in advance. The bridge is crossed by over 40,000 people every day and it is still a busy and vital crossing of the Thames.
The Tower of London. The Tower was founded by William the Conqueror towards the end of the 1066. Its buildings and grounds served historically as a royal palace, a political prison, a place of execution, an arsenal, a zoo and a public records office. It is located on the north bank of the River Thames.
