Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day is celebrated annually on February 14.
Who celebrates this day?
The day is widely celebrated in the United States, but is not a federal holiday. It is also celebrated in other areas of the world.
The day is mostly celebrated by people who are in love including couples that are married or just dating. Children celebrate the day as well with cards of friendship and candy.

Saint Valentine's Day
What do people do to celebrate?
Couples generally celebrate the day with gifts and going out to dinner. Traditional gifts include cards, flowers, and chocolates.
Decorations for Valentine's Day are generally in red and pink colors and include hearts, Cupid with his arrow, and red roses. Cupid is a popular symbol of the holiday because in mythology his arrow strikes the heart of people and causes them to fall in love.

Riddles
What can be touched but can't be seen?
Roses are red, Violets are blue; And I'm forever saying: I love you. What am I?
Sweet, sour, tart, and sugary, you can see me in every store and in every pantry. What am I?
This comes in many shapes, many colors and many sizes and is where you write someone your true feelings. It is, however, almost always flat.
In both GREEK AND ROMAN MYTHOLOGY, Cupid always had a bow and arrow which he used to shoot the power of love wherever he wanted it to go. Some early artists pictured Cupid as being blindfolded. According to Shakespeare, the reason was because as a chubby little boy, Cupid often changed his feelings about things especially those having to do with love.
