Kente cloth is a very important cloth to African culture and is made by the Asante and Ewe peoples. It usually has patterns that include squares, triangles, diamonds, circles, and crosses. They're also colored different colors and each color means something.

Black is maturation, intensified spiritual energy, blue is peacefulness, harmony and love, green is vegetation, planting, harvesting, growth, spiritual renewal, and lastly gold is royalty, wealth, high status, glory, spiritual purity.

Kente cloth is an Akan royal and sacred cloth worn only in times of extreme importance. Also, it itself is very important because it was the cloth of the kings.
