Black is maturation, intensified spiritual energy, blue is peacefulness, harmony and love, green is vegetation, planting, harvesting, growth, spiritual renewal, and lastly gold is royalty, wealth, high status, glory, spiritual purity.
Kente cloth is an Akan royal and sacred cloth worn only in times of extreme importance. Also, it itself is very important because it was the cloth of the kings.
