Some things that I have learned from studying about Emma Watson was that she did way more than just acting. I have always looked up to her as an actress but now I have even more reasons to love her. I learned that you don't have to settle for just one legacy. Emma will be remembered as an actress and an advocate so she proved you can do both. I learned that you can accomplish anything if you really try. Emma was able to get a full education at Brown University in between filming. She graduated and started advocating for womens rights and continued to act.

Emma Watson was born in Paris, France on April 15th, 1990. She moved to England with her brother and her mom at the age of 5 when her parents separated. Emma is most known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter Movies. One of the reasons people look up to her is because she was only 9 years old when she was cast and she did not have any previous acting experience

While filming she became really close friends with some of the other kids on set, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). The 3 of them were constantly pulling pranks on everyone and sometimes each other. But other than that she was very professional when she was filming and usually was able to film, all of her scenes in one take. Because of that, her nickname on set was “One Take Watson”.

One of the problems she faced growing up was her parents separating and having to move countries because of that. Another problem Emma faced was having to deal with the struggle of growing up on a movie set. You might think that growing up on a movie set would be a dream come true but Emma has talked a lot about how she often wishes she could be a normal kid and not have all the attention drawn to her when she goes out in public. Growing up on a movie set prevents you from having a normal school experience, watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, and many others.
After Emma finished the Harry Potter movies she went to Brown University in Rhode Island and studied English Literature because she was a strong believer in getting a proper education and thought it was something she needed to do before continuing her acting career. Once she graduated she got involved with being an advocate for gender equality and inspired even more girls around the world. She also won the Observer Ethical Awards in 2015 for speaking out for gender equality.
