Hello, My name is Jimmy! Today, I will share the time in school when I faced a dilemma.

Caleb, the tallest boy in our class, walked up to me with his gang.He laughed at me because I was wearing my elder brother's shoes which were torn and old.

"What are those, they smell worse than your breath!" Caleb laughed pushing me on the floor.

HAHAHA, you are so not cool!

I ran home trying not to cry so people will see me as a man.

Actually, my family is rather poor so we can't afford cool backpacks or shoes...

"If only I had money so I can buy cool shoes like the rest of the kids" I thought to myself...

Mom has to work all day to pay all the bills, and Dad works far away,sending us money every month.

I peeked outside my room and I saw Mom sleeping on the couch.

Watching Mom sleep, a thought came to me...

"What if I sneak into her room and take just a bit of money to buy some cool, new shoes!" I told myself.

I tip-toed into Mom's room and took the money.

"My birthday soon anyways, I won't ask for anything since I'm buying these shoes." I convinced myself.

Then I went to sleep.
