In the beach buggy, we put our towels, our 

beach toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards 

and games like paddle ball and ring toss.

We walk up 77th 

Street and across 

the dunes and then 

we are there!

We pick a spot and set 

up our chairs. 

Then, we go in the ocean 

and jump waves while 

the lifeguard watches us.

We wait for the ice cream man. 

Sometimes, my Uncle Renny drives his 

quad down to our spot to say hello. 

Yeah!! The ice cream man has arrived! The 

kids line up and get what they want with the 

money from the moms.

We build sand castles 

for a while and bury 

each other in the sand 

and then we order 

pizza.
