When I was in High School, my Nana and Papa took me on a trip to Ireland to visit our friends, the Duffy's. On the way there, we spent 3 days in Amsterdam, which is a city in the Netherlands. Most people use bikes instead of cars!

One amazing thing we did while we were in Amsterdam was a take canal cruise. These canals go all through the city!

We also went to a big supermarket, where you could walk around and buy things from the stands. I tried churros for the first time! I loved them! There were a lot of foods there that I hadn't seen before!

We went to see the yellow cube houses next! They look amazing on the outside, but they are small and cramped on the inside. I loved to look at them, but I would not like to live in them.

My grandparents and I had a great time on our stop in Amsterdam! We hopped on a plane to our final destination!

Finally, we made it to Ireland! Our friends, the Duffy's, took us to this beautiful beach! You could see the blue ocean and purple rocks! It was one of my favorite places.

The next day, we went to the Blarney Castle. At the top is the Blarney stone. People believe it is good luck to lay on your back, lean over the edge, and kiss the stone. This was a new experience for me!

My favorite place from the whole trip was the Cliffs of Mohr. We climbed to the top of the cliffs and stood right on the edge!
