Lydia Fitz, & Hayden Fitz made a heart & hung it in the window to support all the helpers on the front lines. We want to thank them all, & to show our gratitude to them throughout this process.

They both wrote kind letters to their teachers!




Avery and Reid Conway made nice notes and hid them all over the house!




"Our family has done a couple things to spread Kindness since this all started. We painted our windows for people to look at. We made pictures for every one of our grandparents and great grandparents and went to their houses and taped them on their windows. A week later, we actually lost Nate's Great grandpa, my grandpa. Nate said he was very happy he made him smile before that. Then we wrote to him with chalk. We also gave Nana a hello in chalk!"

She made a thank you card to all of the Medina teachers. She also posted hearts and a Be Kind message in the front window for people to see as they drive by.

"Here are brothers Jensen and Griffin Cetnar (Kindergartener at Blake / 3rd grader at Blake). They chose to decorate paper hearts to add to our front window, as we have many friends and neighbors who walk by our house each day. We hope to make them smile!"

"We have painted our front door with a large heart to look like stained glass..... anyone passing by may be inspired and make them smile. We have also made Birthday Signs for friends to wish them a Happy Birthday through this time."

Lincoln Williams decided to hand out masks to his elderly neighbors to wear for their health and safety.

"My Aunt and Uncle had their first baby, and we made a Welcome Home sign for when they brought him home to their house. His name is Brock and he is my new baby cousin."



"I drew a bear on our front window so that people can see it and go on a bear hunt on their walks for something fun to do. And I drew a really cool design on my back door. I've been doing chores around the house to help my family out." -Nevaeha

Kendall wrote kind notes and hid them around the house. Her sister found the first one!

"Andrew Cook at Heritage In Mrs. Wehrley ‘s class (kindergarten) was able to help a neighbor down the street. The day after the tornado we saw her out cleaning up sticks that had fallen. Our family stopped and helped her pick up sticks."

Kelly Campbell has been coloring pictures daily for her elderly neighbor who can't go out right now. She delivers the pictures to her front porch, rings the bell, and then runs home so there is no contact. She writes little notes on the back of the pictures, too.
Harlow Powers celebrates kindness with National Siblings Day!

And speaking of siblings, Elijah and Manny Heming are helping with their little brother and also made cookies!

And speaking of baked goods, Asher Rushton, from Blake Elementary, and his family made brownies for some friends and delivered them.
Savannah Vavro is sending Easter letters to family to cheer them up. She misses all of her family and friends very much!

Emery Kestner drew a picture for his "grammy" since he loves and misses her and hasn't been able to have a "grammy weekend" in a while.

This picture was created by Brielle and Gianna Davies, along with "happy pictures" which are colorings and drawings by them that I posted in my nursing home. They wanted to thank the teams for "being Brave" and coming into an environment where they know Covid is possible.
Here is a picture for both Brianna and Mason. My friend’s mom works in an assisted living home in WI and the residents aren’t allowed any visitors. The kids sent a letter and drew pictures for two of the residents.


I also made cards and gave them to the nursing home. - Avarie

We received a nice thank you card and letter from the Home, as they all definitely appreciated it! We do not personally know anyone there, but we plan to visit them in person once we are allowed to do so!
It was very special for the kids to write cards to someone they didn't know but needed encouragement and get a response back from them!
Adelina White, in Mrs. Liston's 1st Grade class at Blake Elementary, and her siblings have (over the course of the last three weeks) written many letters and cards and drew pictures for several people: their grandparents and great grandparents, and also they sent several cards to the Medina County Home when the order came out that they could have no visitors.
John Riggio drew this and put it in his window this past week.

I drew this for my mawmaw because she was lonely.

My name is Aiden Terry and I drew this for my tiny superheros project so that I could spread happiness. Then my mom posted it on Facebook and I put it on the car.

My son, Jon Anderson, is a first grader at Northrop. Here is Jon with his project for gratitude for Librarians Day, which is in April, for Mrs. Frazer. He wrote I love you and decorated a heart and flower for her.
