People with schizophrenia have difficulty keeping a job and caring for themselves. They must rely on family and friends for help. The disease is often misunderstood, but it is treatable, and in many cases, the individual can go on to lead a productive and normal life.




To prevent schizophrenia don’t use street drugs, and moderate any use of alcohol. Make an ongoing effort to develop your social skills as much as you can. Avoid social isolation.




a thing you should remember about people schizophrenia is they are still human beings and not all people with schizophrenia have the same symptoms.
