“The life makes you face very complex and intricate challenges. And you woman, you see strength where there is weakness and take advantage of opportunities where there are threats. Succeed in life because you're a fighter.”

Hayat is a muslin girl that has had a hard life. She was born in a country and in a very sexist society where women were little valued. Hayat had a very nice childhood, next to their cousins, but grew up seeing the injustices that occurred in her country especially affecting women.

At the age of 11, Hayat went to live to Spain with her father and that was the best thing that could have happened and at the same time the worst.
She continued her studies there. She learnt the language very fast, and it was there, where she began to open up mentally, and saw the freedom and the security with which women lived . The only thing she knew was that, this was the life she wanted to have, and not the one the muslin women are condemned to have.
She wanted to study, work, be an independent woman, and above all be free.
But things are not as easy as in fairy tales. Unfortunately, her family, the most important thing that she has in life, are very closed-minded. They think that the woman has the obligation to care of men, father, brother, husband... and that the life of a woman is in marriage and taking care of the family.
While she was growing up and studying, she expanded her knowledge. That meant a danger for her family, since she was having an idea of life very different from theirs. Because of that, they went through many problems, one after the other, to the point that Hayat wanted to end her life, because she could not stand anymore.

One day, she had a dream. She dreamed with her dead grandmother that she loved so much:
'Hello daughter' told her grandmother .
When Hayat saw her grandmother, she started to cry.
'Grandma, I miss you so much' said Hayat as she ran to hug her.
'My girl, do what you feel. I know how you are, don't try to be a person you are not, fight for what you want. I will always be with you' said grandmother.
'But grandma, I can't go away from my family. They are everything to me and I will do anything not to disappoint them. I can not destroy the heart of my mother' answered Hayat .
'And what happens with yours?' asked her grandmother
'If they really love you, they will accept you as you are' added her grandmother as she walked away.
In that instant, Hayat woke up and left her much to think about.
