Hi everybody, we are a team of 10 students from different countries. We are trying to save the planet visiting schools. For the first part, we will be able to identify specific information on climate change. Let's start investigating the questions such as how do we know climate change is real, why is climate change happening.

We are definitely sure that to save the planet, we have to do something immediately. So we decide to have a webinar in order to discuss and brainstorm on these questions. During the webinar, one of the friends in the team called Güneş from Turkey says if we make an impressive plan and in this plan if every team can take a responsibility for a different duty, we can achieve our goals successfully. As soon as he has shared his ideas, we all agreed with Güneş. Then, we divide up into teams of five and distribute tasks.

Some of this team decided to create a vehicle prototype to investigate marine pollution.They thought that this vehicle would be built with the appropriate geometric design to consume little energy. They made trigonometric calculations to get the most out of wind and solar energy.

While they were trying to identify the capacitors and electronic circuit elements needed to store the energy to be obtained from renewable energy sources in this prototype they made, they also wrote that
they should not forget to calculate the lifting force required for their prototype to float in the sea
While they were presenting their presentations,they also talked about what causes Earth's climate change.Climate change affects more than temperature. Warmer water changes the patterns of ocean currents, affecting global weather patterns.
Some places will receive more rainfall, which could lead to flooding, while other places will get less, which might mean drought. Tropical storms could be stronger, and a continuing rise in sea level due to melting polar ice might push people out of their homes.
They also gave some following tips to stop the climate change.
You can help by using less energy and water. Turn off lights and TVs when you leave a room. Turn off the water when brushing your teeth. You also can help by planting trees.

PART 2: ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES
They all agreed on one thing; if they want to fix the climate change, first they should start from their own environment. They dediced to make a plan to create an awareness at their schools. They started to make posters to take other students' attention

They conducted research on global warming and displayed them on school boards with posters they prepared.
During their research, they decided to share what they need to do to prevent air pollution, water pollution and soil pollution causing climate change with their friends and families.

And they decided to take some precautions about air,soil and water pollution.How they may do that!!They all believe that some small steps can change lots of things for our lovely Earth.They asked their parents to drive their cars less and use public transport or bike to prevent air pollution.Of course for soil pollution recycling is the most important step.They created recycling corners at their schools and inform their friends how important usage of them.For water pollution they started to use less chemicals at their homes with their families and for saving water they used the running water more carefully and efficiently.They were very happy. Young people were really very conscious. It was now necessary to draw attention to the issue of renewable energy sources.

Thanks to their research, they knew very well that environmental change has been a change of the environment often caused by human influences.They had already started their “action “ at school, at home and did their best to raise public awareness.
Soon afterwards, their action named as “Little Things Make A Big Difference” attracted a great deal of attention.These group of students were invited to lecture, to give seminars in other schools about climate change, environmental change, saving energy, clean energy , and the importance of planting a tree and keeping our world green and clean in our own little way.

The students didn't stop at that. They started to think of ways to share their knowledge with wider public. They decided to use technology for that and came up with the idea of creating a website and video blog. Every student of these groups shot a video about the environmental problems and little things that anyone can apply in their daily lives in order to make bigger difference in total.

PART 3 : ENERGY SAVING
Energy, the source of life in the universe, is all of the effort spent on doing a job. Walking, feeding, heating our home or drying our hair are examples for energy. While meeting our needs in our daily life, it can be strengthened by using energy, according to our budget, national economy and the protection of nature.

There is the potential to use energy efficiently in almost every moment of our daily life. As a group, we thought how to achieve this. We made our plans from private to general. We will add our families to the activities we will start as individuals. Then we will expand it in our schools.

We determined the following suggestions with friends in the group; We decided to implement them both in reducing domestic energy consumption and saving your energy costs.
-Replace the bulbs with energy efficient bulbs. Your ampoules will last longer and your electricity costs will decrease.

PART 4: REDUCE
People faces constantly increasing environmental problems.Life on earth is the product of a large system of intertwined parts.Damage to any of these parts also affects the other parts of the system.The steps you can take to protect and reuse something are more easier than people think.We can fulfill our task just by changing our daily habits.
To help protect the environment ,we can try reducing energy and water consumption,changing eat and transportation habits to preserve natural resources also we adapt our home and garden to be more environmentally friendly.


In our project , we have four teams to go zero waste.

Here are some tips of reducing for the environment:
-Buy and use less! Buy only what you need! You can buy used items too. They are cheap and as good as new. You can donate your items like clothes, books, or some other things that you don’t use any more.
-Avoid single-serve items. Plastic plates,forks,spoons,bottles are very common these days, but they are really harmful for the environment. Take your own reusable bottle with you when you go out.
-Don’t use plastic store bags when you buy a few items. You can carry them in your hands, or you can take a reusable bag with you.

We can do many activities as teams to reduce waste in environment and there are lots of things to do. If we make simple things as habits, we will be eco-friendly people, raise eco- friendly generations and we will reduce consumption, waste and spending. For example ; we can walk or cycle to nearby places instead of driving and we can reduce petrol usage by this way. To reduce water consumption, we should turn off the tap while brushing our teeth. Also, we can buy less to protect environment and reduce expenses.
We can use A+ machines and cloth bags instead of plastic bags. We can raise awareness around us, especially among our friends and partners. We can all try to be more conscious and careful to save environment.
To sum up, there are a lot of things to save environment. It is important to reduce waste, spend less and avoid unnecessary and big amounts of consumption to achieve our goals.

We thought about what we could do in our schools. And started to collect wetwipe caps all over the school.



It turned out a game that everyone can play. Students could test their knowledge of environment. We were so happy to create something with reused materials. We realized that even though we are young, we can do something for a better environment
