I am a dust particle. I live in Kansas. Kansas is a state that gets a lot of tornadoes. This is the story of one particular tornado that I got caught in.

A tornado is a giant storm with lots of winds that can go up to 300 miles per hour. They are usually short, but are very violent and destructive.

One day, I was floating around in the air, when a giant spiral of dust just like me came around. It looked something like this:

The wind was spiraling around and around. It was so fast, I could hear it. It sounded a bit like the tractors people use in Kansas, but it rumbled the ground.

The tornado kept going faster and faster. It kept swirling around, and I feared for my life, I wanted to go to the ground, but I was suspended in the air. I couldn't go anywhere. I was doomed.

The tornado kept coming closer and closer. I closed my eyes and hoped and hoped that everything would be alright.

The next thing I knew, I was swirling around at top speed inside a tornado. I, or rather, the tornado I was in, swept through buildings like a hot knife through butter. I was swirling around and around, hoping to crash into something so strong that it would end this sheer terror for me at once.

Eventually it stopped. I can't describe exactly what happened, but the tornado simply was no more. I was safe... at last. That was quite the adventure.
