To used-to-be-my-pet Lazy Socks,
for all the adventures you brought,
and all the presents you left.

Smokey was a small cat who never cared to go in the garden before, but today something was different. Something strange had caught her attention. A weird mouse had darted across her path, disappearing into the bright greens, yellows, blues, and reds of the garden.
Smokey was very interested in the little mouse and began to follow him. The tall, bright flowers in the garden towered over Smokey and threatened to collapse if she dare set a paw near. Smokey didn't pay any attention to them today, she just wanted to find the mouse.
Before she knew it, Smokey had wandered deep into the garden, and found herself in a maze of colors. There was red over there, yellow here, green on the left, blue on the right, there were bunches of colors absolutely everywhere! This made navigating impossible for Smokey, and now she would never find that little mouse.
Smokey had been wandering for what felt like hours, when she stumbled upon some pieces of cheese. It was a few crumbs, from what Smokey suspected, was the mouse's mid-day snack. This was it! If she followed the mouse's trail of cheese then she would find the mouse.
Into the night, Smokey followed the trail deeper through the garden in search of the mouse. Now that it was late, Smokey depended entirely on the moon to light her path. The crumb trail had suddenly ended, and Smokey was about to give up on this endless search when she notice something once again.
