Chapter 1:Passion is not your path

Harry and his Dad were practicing their boxing then suddenly Harry said ‘Dad I don’t want to box anymore I want to sing! I like singing! It is my true passion.’ Then Dad shook his head ‘You will not sing you know better! Passion is not your path Harry! Anyway your passion is boxing! You are a celebrity Harry now live your life properly or end up being homeless!’ Harry sulked off and everyday he’d try and try again but it was no use Dad would always say ‘Passion is not your path, now go to your room and grow up!’ Harry for the last time went up to his room sulkily and began to sing. His voice was like an angel if only his Dad heard him sing then maybe he could be a singer like he’d always dreamed.

He curled up in his bed and thought to himself what life would be like being a singer. He thought it would be wonderful!

He would always get invited to sing for parties he would be able to enter singing clubs and just enjoy his life. But with his Dad around...he had no chance of being able to do any of that. Suddenly something flew through the window what could it be?

Chapter 2:Sky Ferin

He looked at the piece of paper and it said singing competition! Join it and win the luxury to become a professional singer! Auditions on Sunday the 5th of October. To join come to the theatre in Springfield Street make sure you are over the age of 13 can’t wait to see you all there! Good luck! Harry was amazed but he had to think of how to get into this competition. He thought and thought and thought until he had an idea! He could go in disguise! So he went to the shopping centre and bought a wig, contacts, a dress and some hair-style tips. Then he got home and put it all together and couldn’t even recognise himself!

He looked like a girl with ginger hair in a high ponytail with eyes that looked like the sky and the dress was purple with little blue buttons on to match his eyes and last but not least he was wearing blue high heels which took a while to get used to wearing but usually he would have blonde hair and dark brown eyes, usually wearing bright coloured outfits! So it was a complete change but he was ready! He took off his disguise and got some rest thinking about his big day tomorrow. He even thought of a name to give himself and it would be Sky Ferin! So the next day he told his Dad he would be out with his friends so he was able to get out.

He walked over to the theatre and put his disguise on before he got in and there he met many people with amazing singing voices and then it was his turn to go to the stage! There he saw three judges in front of him. The first judge was a nice smiley woman with midnight black hair and emerald green eyes, her name was Erika Darl. The second judge was a young man who had white dyed hair and really dark brown eyes his name was C.J Arine. The last judge was another woman with dark brown hair and bright blue eyes whose name was Izzy Emba. Then Izzy Emba asked Harry to start...

Chapter 3:The audition

Harry/Sky began to start, he sang the song Dance Monkey. Through the performance the judges looked very pleased the when the audition was over Erika Darl said to Harry 'You were amazing! My vote is in!' Then C.J Arine spoke and said 'Sky I've seen many talent but never seen any talent like yours, you have to be in the show! My vote is in!' Lastly Izzy Emba said 'Congratulations Sky! You have 3 votes and I think everyone else agrees! You are in the show!' Harry began to celebrate and walked back home,he quickly took off his disguise and waled in to see his Dad waiting for him. 'Hey son how was your day?' Harry was confused so he said 'Great but are you ok? Are you waiting for me to something?' Dad explained 'I know how much you like singing so instead of letting you sing I am going to let you watch the latest singing show on T.V. I'm afraid it's only the auditions but it's better than nothing.'

Harry sat down and realised it was the singing competition that he had entered! When his act popped up he was surprised to hear what Dad said...'Wow! I never thought I'd say this but I'm really enjoying this program! My favourite act is definitely Sky Ferin! What do you think Harry?' Harry said 'um yes she is really good!'and began to smirk a little.Then his Dad said 'Well Harry I guess that's the end of that have a nice night Harry see you tomorrow!Harry went to bed so amazed that his Dad was impressed with him singing! He dreamt about how his next song would go...

Chapter 4:Dad sings

So it’s after auditions now and Harry is still in the competition and his Dad is still going crazy about Sky Ferin! Then the day before the competition’s acts came back Sky Ferin has an interview! So Harry once again snuck out to go there and his Dad watched him speak on T.V and strangely began to sing! He sang the song This is reality and looked back at pictures showing Mum...Mum was a singer. Then after being a famous singer it dropped and she lost her opportunity of being a singer so all her money was taken away from her and she left Dad because she was so angry! Dad didn’t want Harry to become like Mum so he banned him from singing...unfortunately Harry never met his Mum or heard about

her so he didn’t know this. Dad was still singing This is reality and suddenly Harry came indoors and heard him! ‘Dad you were singing!’ Dad told Harry ‘son I need you to know something...’ Harry asked ‘what is it?’ Dad replied ‘I banned you from singing because your mother lost everything from singing and I don’t want you to end up like her I’m sorry son but this is reality you can’t sing’ Harry said ‘so this is all it’s about? Well Dad thank you for letting me know!’ He stormed off upstairs. Harry thought ‘why would he do that! Why!’ He fell to sleep and the next day he ran to the competition in disguise. Let’s hope it goes well...

Chapter 5:I’m sorry

Harry went to the stage and began to sing the song Faded. The judges loved it and this round it was time to have a coach...Erika said ‘I would love to have someone like you to coach, Sky you are a sharp young woman and you seem to be able to sing with every style so you are free to join my team.’ Next was C.J ‘Sky your voice is amazing but I don’t think I would like you to join my team. Your style is so pop and a style everyone likes but me not that I’m sorry but your not free to join me.’ Lastly was Izzy ‘Sky I would love to have you on my team but I think you are better with Erika. She is a great coach and I promise you she will get you into what you want to be. She loves the style you have so what I’m saying is you are free to join me but I think you should join Erika.'

Chapter 6:The fall

Harry went back to the theatre to do his act again and of course he was in disguise again. His coach told him he would be singing a song called Thunder. So he had to put a dance routine in for it and the action behind him would be thunder and lightning on the massive board. He couldn’t wait to do it but then...he saw Dad in the crowd! He was live and his Dad was there! He was scared, shocked and amazed he couldn’t wait! He began to sing and his Dad was shouting ‘WOOOO! GO SKY! YOUR AMAZING! WOOOOO!’ Then suddenly Harry slipped and fell to the ground! Everyone was so shocked and nobody knew how much pain he was in so they took him to the doctors and Dad followed him there. The doctor came out and Dad asked ‘Is she ok? Will she be able to perform?’
