The day I found out I had a genetic superpower was definitely one to remember.

I had a normal day at school with Grayson, nothing out of the blue happened that stood out. It all just happened on the walk home from school. Grayson and I were walking home, it was freezing, the sun was hiding behind the clouds, and my boots were filled with snow. We were just having a regular conversation about Mr. Springfield's homework and how he assigns way to much of it, when all of the sudden....

I was not sure where I was or how I got there, but I appeared to be in a science laboratory. My first thoughts were that I passed out and didn't remember anything and Mr. Springfield took me to his lab. Why would I be there though?

Three men walked into the dark and eerie room where I was sitting. I looked a little closer at the people dressed in lab coats and realized something so shocking and absolutely unbelievable. The tall, brown haired man was my father! You may be wondering why that is so preposterous to me?

My dad passed away when I was 5 years old. I don't remember much of him, I wish I got to know him more, I look at pictures of him all of the time. There he was, my own father, standing right before my eyes. I wasn't sure what to do at first but I was going to figure out what on Earth was going on. I started to walk towards the men to see what was going on when all of the sudden...

I was back walking on the sidewalk right next to Grayson.

I asked him "DUde, did you see that?"

He said "No, What was it?"

I then told him all about what I just saw. He seemed very confused. He told me that he didn't even realize I was gone. I didn't understand how that could be, because it felt like I was gone for at least 10 minutes. I had to figure out what was wrong with me and what just happened.

Grayson and I decided to go and talk to Mr. Springfield to see if he could run some kind of test or just see if he knew anything about my problem.

When we got there he took a vial of my blood to run tests on. He extracted my DNA from it and It took him about 15 minutes to come up with a diagnosis. He told me that there was some sort of mutation in my DNA that causes me to travel back in time and live in that moment for about 10 minutes. He didn't know how I got it or which of my parents I received it from.

I called my mom to come to the school so Mr. Springfield could test her to see if she is the one who gave it to me. He extracted her DNA and found out that it must have been from my dad.

Right then I thought that maybe what those 3 men were doing in the lab had something to do with the super natural power ability. I wanted to go back and ask them what they were doing, but how?

I had to learn how to control my powers.

Over about a span of 1 week I learned how to control where I traveled. I went back in time to see cool things like the first snowboard being invented in 1965 by Sherman Poppen. I also decided to use my powers for saving. I traveled to the Twin Towers about 3 hours before the attacks. I successfully got everyone out of the Twin Towers, so when the planes hit no one died in the buildings. I couldn't save anyone that was in the hijacked planes.

After a while of spending my powers on fun things and saving I decided to travel back to the lab where my father was. I wanted to figure out what he was involved in...

When I entered the room once again this is what I heard.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" said one of the men, he was short and had black hair.

"I have to!" said my father.

The 3rd man standing beside him said "YOu know we are not sure of all of the side effects?"

"I have to do this, I need the money and you 2 know that!" said my father.

Right then I knew that my dad was a human experiment. I decided to move closer to the men, so I could see what they were about to do.
