Welcome to Louis Vuitton Company.

Its Founder.

The company was founded by Louis Vuitton Gaillard (August 4, 1821 – February 25, 1892) in 1854 the son of a peasant and a hatmaker, Louis lived on his parents' farm, but at the age of 10 his mother died, his father remarried and Louis did not think it was a farm life without his mother, at the age of 14 Louis escaped to walk the 292 miles to Paris. He kept up with strange jobs along the way, sleeping where he found refuge. He was apprenticed in the workshop of a successful box manufacturer that was where he learned the craftsmanship of making custom boxes, over time Louis founded his company which transcended to the point that the company's monograms only the royals used them.

The Louis Vuitton brand was founded by Vuitton in 1854 on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France.

Where it's now?

The Vuitton firm has been delivered from generation to generation.

Currently the company is owned by LVMH (initially the acronym for Louis Vuitton MOËT Hennessy).

Which is LVMH?

It is an absolute leading French multinational conglomerate in luxury and owner of 76 renowned brands around the world. It is headquartered in Paris, France, and is chaired by Bernard Arnault, the third richest man in the world according to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index.

What do employees use?

Louis Vuitton employees have to have a strictly formal profile, elegance, manners and excellent customer service since being a fashion house they have to have these fundamental rules.

On the uniform, if the employee works in the factory he wears comfortable clothes but always wears a beige vest, as he distinguishes him and helps him to load his work tools.

But if you work at the outlets and the administrative offices you have to wear formal black clothing.

Mans: black jacket, black trousers, white long sleeve shirt, a black tie and black sneakers.

Women: if you wear dress you have to wear black stockings, black pants, black blouses, not very exaggerated accessories.

Note: for women it is more demanding because they have to impose fashion, an excellent taste and can not relate color or informal accessories.
