Once upon a time, there was a bold, brave and curious little girl named Marianna. Every summer she would visit her grandparents house in Mexico. She loved visiting her grandfather most because he made every day feel like it was a new adventure.

Her grandfather would tell her the most magical stories about his old juggling days. He even taught her a few of his old juggling tricks and routines.

One day while practicing for hours, he told her about his old magical juggling balls that he had lost when he was a little boy. Marianna’s grandfather said that the balls gave him the ability to do any trick.

Most of the stories he told sounded untrue but she loved them anyways and because of that she had decided to find the balls her grandfather always spoke of.

The scariest place in her grandparents home was the attic so that is where she began her search.  As Marianna looked around the dark and cramped space she spied a drop cloth covering a bunch of...?

She didn’t know what it was covering so that became her starting place.  She boldly walked over and threw the cloth off to find some old chairs, a mannequin, and a chest.  Her curiosity soared at the curved wooden box and she opened the chest, then whack a ball flew up and hit her in the head.

Marianna thought to herself, “my grandfather's stories are true!”
