One day there were two brothers who lived right next to the woods. The younger kid, “Sam” who had just turned 5 was looking for something fun to do with his 4 year old brother, Charlie.

It was a warm summer afternoon around three when instead of sitting with their parents out on the deck he thought that they should go explore the woods even farther than they already have.

So Sam and Charlie ask their parents if they could go into the woods and explore. Their mom Sara said that they could go if they stay close to the house and come home by five o’clock . And so the brothers started into the woods to use their imagination to build a new fort deeper in the woods.

When they started to go into the new area they decided to make a flag made of an extra tarp that they had so that they would not get lost.
