Lice is a white and fuzzy bug that causes terrible itchiness.

What is Lice?

Lice can get on other people by touching heads. Lice are things that transmit diseases. The first example is people can get lice by sharing pillows, beds, combs, etc.  The next example is dirtiness and playing close can get lice.  There are many different ways we catch lice!

A lice’s life cycle is short. Lice can only survive for 30 days.  First it starts off as a nit. Then it becomes a larva and last an adult. There are not many stages in a lice life cycle. 

A lice’s food web is weird. Normally an animal eats another animal but here nothing eats lice. Lice feed on blood but poison can kill lice. Lice can die many different ways.
