TUCK EVERLASTING

REFLECTION

Love, loyalty and family were the most captivating aspects throughout the story of "Tuck Everlasting". The irrational love Winnie felt for the handsome, thin, "young" Jesse and his charming, small, multi-tasking family was fantastic. Similarly, Winnie's love for nature and animals has been quite emotional and thoughtful. Also, the concept of family was manifested from different perceptions. First, calming down and protecting the other was considered more important than anything else.  Second, the beautiful relationship

between Winnie and Tuck´s family was prettier and more special than other family relationships; they definitely got along very well together. On the other hand, Winnie's loyalty to the Tucks was the most limitless. The exchange between "Winnie" and "Mae" in prison in order that they could run away was an irrefutable act of love and loyalty. Furthermore, Tuck's secret was not revealed by her. In conclusion, it seems to us that these concepts were manifested in a very moving and thoughtful way throughout story, and make up our lives.
