STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES


Ingredients:
-Half a kg of grape leaves
-2 glasses of rice
-2 medium large onions
-2 table spoons of tomato paste
-Black pepper, salt and dried mint
-Half a glass of olive oil
-Juice of one lemon or 1 table spoon of pomegranate extract.
-2 glasses of hot water
Place the grape leaves in boiling water and boil for 3 to 5 minutes to soften them. Remove them and drain the water out. Place them aside. Put olive oil in a pan and sauté the small cut onions. Add the rice.
Then add a glass of water and let it simmer. Leave the dish for rest and allow the filling to cool. Add the rest of the ingredients and make sure all ingredients are mixed well.
Cut the stem of the leaf. Place a tablespoon of filling in the bottom center of the leaf, just above the stem. Roll the bottom section up to cover the filling. Place the rolls in layers in the pan. When all rolls are done and layered in the pan, add two glasses of hot water and lemon juice. Add some olive oil and salt. Cook it about half an hour.
You can serve the stuffed grape leaves with yoghurt or cacik. Enjoy your meal!

Eggplant with Ground Beef
Ingredients
2 eggplants, peeled and cut into ½ inch thick slices
1 big onion, chopped
½ lb (200 gr) ground beef
2 tomatoes, diced / 1 cup tomato in a can/ 1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup oil for frying the eggplant
1 green pepper, chopped
1 tsp salt
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp black pepper
2 cloves of garlic, sliced thin (optional)
½ cup hot or warm water
Peel the whole eggplant or you can peel striped. Slice them in ½ inch wide and then place them in a bowl and cover the eggplants with water. Let them stand for 30 minutes in water. Then, drain the eggplants and wipe with a piece of cloth. In a large skillet place the oil and fry the eggplants until they change in color. Do not over fry for not to damage the pieces. Place the fried eggplant pieces in a Pyrex dish and sprinkle salt on them.
You can use the same skillet or a smaller one. Place the ground beef and 1 tbsp oil and cook until the meat changes in color. Then add the chopped onions and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add the chopped peppers, garlic (optional) tomatoes or tomato paste and ½ tbsp salt. Sauté for 5 minutes. Finally add the cumin and black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly on the fried eggplants and add the hot water. Enjoy your Meal J

CHOCOLATE CAKE


When I grow up I want to be:
Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of oil
1 cup of milk +1 glass of milk
1 packet of baking powder
1 packet of vanilin
1 pack of cream
2 spoons of cocoa
Nuts/chocolate

First of all ,we mix sugar and eggs. Then we add milk and oil. We mix for a while. After that we add flour,baking powder, vanilla and cocoa. We mix again. We put the whole mixture in the bowl and we bake in the oven for 30 minutes.While the mixture is in the oven,we put 1 pack of cream and 2 packages of chocolate in a plate and we melt them. When the cake is ready,we pour 1 plants of milk on the cake,turn it over and pour the cream and chocolate mixture on it.
At the end we decorate with nuts and chocolate.

FALFEL

Ingredients:
1 cup chickpeas (pre-soaked for 1 night)
2 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon of cumin
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Liquid for frying
Roughly cut the onion and garlic into several pieces. Then add all ingredients, except flour, to the rond and chop them until they remain slightly lumpy. Add flour and knead. From the prepared meatball mortar, roll it in the size of a walnut and roll it. Fry in the deep oil that you anger.
