Why was the 1950s and 1960s "Booming" significant?

I believe this event is significant because Canada’s birth rate was at a decline due to the Great Depression of the 1930s, but with soldiers who came back from World War 2 and adults getting married which all led to Canada’s birth rate increasing. As of 1937, Canada’s gross birth rate reached a low point of 20.1, but when 1945 rolled around, Canada’s gross birth rate rose up to 24.3 then changed to 27.2 as of 1946. The gross birth rate stayed level which was between 27 and 28.5 until 1959, where it began to gradually decline.
How has Canada changed due to this event?

Canada has changed a lot due to this period because of the actions of the baby boomers which led to many of the large corporations and businesses being founded by baby boomers. Also, when baby boomers retired, the Premier of Saskatchewa, Tommy Douglas, had pushed for the Welfare State which gave baby boomers equal pay and universal health care. It ensured Canadians health and safety which lasted for a decent amount of time until Prime Minister Brian Mulroney came into power and strayed away from the Welfare State.
What happened from the 1950s and 1960s "Booming"?

Inconsequentially, this event greatly improved Canada’s economy when as many products and institutions were created to cater to all the baby boomers which grew up to join the workforce. While the boomers were starting businesses which would then grow up to be the large corporations we see today and with that fact, it greatly improved the economy. With demand of products increasing like crazy when the boomers started to enter adulthood, the stock market increased as well which was another reason why the economy got boosted.
