For Adam

There was once a boy named Tommy Edson. He lived on Cornwall Street.
He loved to read. He also loved school. Which explains the reason why Tommy knows so much.

Tommy was very good in school too. He listened to the teacher and anyone who talked.

Some kids did not do as well as him. When Tommy tried to help, they just pushed him away.

They were bullies. They were not very nice. Tommy usually tried to avoid them, but sometimes they looked for him.

Even though he was bullied, that didn't stop him from being nice. Tommy still had a lot of friends.

He also had a big secret. In the basement of his house, he hid a science lab. It wasn't just a science lab either. It was a place he could invent things and let his imagination run wild!

=

He invented a lot of things in that lab. Tommy even invented the lightbulb!
