There once was a crocodile who crossed the river every single day. The crocodile was big and strong and to everyone's surprise he was kind.

One day a scorpion asked the crocodile for a favor.

"Hey there Crocodile can you help me cross the river?" The Scorpion asked.

"No way! You are a Scorpion and you will sting me and kill me because you are poisonous!"Exclaimed the crocodile.

"No everyone knows scorpions hate water and we would never sting you because then we would both drown!" Explained the scorpion.

The crocodile thought for a while and he agreed with the scorpion. If the scorpion stings him then they will both die. So the crocodile finally agrees and he asks the scorpion to jump on his back and he will bring him across the river.

The two make it half way across the river when suddenly the crocodile felt a very strong sting.

"You stung me! Now we will both die!! Why did you do this to me?!"

"I'm sorry! I just couldn't help it! I am a scorpion and it is in our nature" the scorpion replied as the two both drowned.
