EARLY LIFE :
Qutb-ud-din Aibak was born in 1150 , in Turkestan , He came Turkic tribe called Aibak.he was separated from his family at a young age and was sold into slavery. He was purchased by a Qazi at Nishapur , in Persia
At Nishapur he learned archery and horse riding besides Quran recital. He was loyal ,generous,generous,courageous and had a sense of justice, which attracted. many people
Ruling Period;
Qutb-ud-din rose to a high position from the life of a slave. He proved that he can be the most capable slave among the slaves of Sultan Muhammed. He was a self-made man who rose to the status of Sultan by his own work. His reign lasted from 25th June 1206 to 1210.
he became the ruler of an independent kingdom that involved into Delhi sultanate.in 1197 Aibak defeated the Chaulukyas army at mount abu.
conqued kingdoms :
Aibak expanded the Ghurid power in northern India by conquering and raiding several places in the Chahamana, Gahadavala, Chaulukya, Chandela, and other kingdoms. When Mu'izz ad-Din died in 1206, Aibak fought with another former slave-general Taj al-Din Yildiz for control of Ghurid territories in north-western India.
