Walks on the beach, Jersey Shore summers.

Boardwalk rides and shore pizza. 

I’m from a world of books and learning,

Pencils, papers, and markers.

I’m from a classroom of endless possibilities, 

Where each day is a new day.

I’m from homemade chocolate chip cookies and pancakes on Sunday mornings,

I’m from Christmas parties and St. Patrick’s Day parades.

I’m from Friends marathons and Jeopardy nights,

I’m from country music and romantic comedies.
